Crockpot Beef Brisket

Crock Pot Beef Brisket Pot Roast 


1 1/2 lb beef brisket 
1 tsp himalayan salt 
1/2 tsp black pepper 
1 tbsp garlic powder (or 2 cloves garlic) 
1 tbsp onion powder (or 1 onion) 
2 sprigs of thyme 
12 baby carrots cut in half 
3 stalks celery, cut into chunks 
1 small butternut squash, peeled and cut into chunks 
3 sweet potatoes peeled and cut into chunks
2 cups of beef broth (water or red wine can be subbed) 

 Directions 
 1. Melt 2 tbsp of clarified butter or coconut oil in a large pan over medium heat. 
 2. Sprinkle the meat with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. 
 3. Brown meat on both sides. 
 4. Add meat and all ingredients to crockpot. 
 5. Cook on low for 6-8 hours, until fork tender.
