Clean and Simple Protein Bites
I'm always looking for quick, clean snacks that give a pop of protein. These protein bites are perfect for that middle of the day snack when you need a bit of energy.
Ingredients:
1 cup oats, dry
1/4 cup natural peanut butter
3 tbsp agave or honey
2 tbsp dark chocolate chips
Directions:
1. Mix all ingredients in a mixing bowl using a spatula
2. Roll mixture into equal size bites (I sprayed my hands with coconut oil spray to prevent the ingredients from sticking to my hands)
3. Refrigerate for 30 minutes to 1 hour
Makes 4 servings.
You can refrigerate them before rolling into bites, or after. You'll have the same result either way.
